MTÜ Eesti Külaliikumine Kodukant

NGO Estonian Village Movement Kodukant is a strategic partner (since 2013) to the Ministry of the Interior in developing volunteering in Estonia and an official member of the European Volunteer Center (CEV).

The main tasks of the voluntary activities of the NGO Estonian Village Movement Kodukant are:

– Promotion of volunteering;

– Provision of training and consultancy;

– Dissemination of information about volunteering, evolving the greatest portal of volunteering called Volunteer Gate (http://vabatahtlikud.ee/) and every other week a e-newsletter is published.

– Leading Estonian Volunteering Network (today there are 28 associations in the Network).

People involved with the current project are providing training and consultancy for many organisations involving volunteers. They are also the initiators and assessors of the volunteer involvement quality standard in Estonia. All people involved in the project have a long experience engaging volunteers into different activities.
